Application Management

At the core, Roanoke College is Rolling Admissions, meaning we will return your non-binding decision as quickly as possible but usually within 4-6 weeks of receiving a completed application.  Students who apply by during the Summer months will hear a decision by late September.

Our non-binding Early Action (Early Action I and Early Action II) deadlines guarantee you a decision with 2-3 weeks of the deadline.  Early Decision is our binding admissions plan and only for students who are committed to enrolling at Roanoke.  Early Decision applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis as they are completed.
Students wishing to be Early Decision must apply and have a signed ED agreement to the admissions office by Nov. 15.

For priority non-binding consideration, we recommend applicants choose the appropriate Early Action or Rolling Admissions plans.
